I am currently using VS Dev .NET but also have a licence for a full copy of CR2011 (not installed/using it yet)
We are moving some reports from an old VB6 system that used CR8 (I think). The app did some very complex code to dynamically build up a parameters panel and offer the user the option to select values from lists, drop downs, tick boxes etc and they were then passed into a stored procedure to generate the data for the report.
Looking at the 'Marketing Blurb' for CR2011 it seems it has a whizzy feature in the Parameters Panel?? I have never seen/used it so some general guidance on how it works/how to use it would be great. I have search here a fair bit and can only find a few posts relating to specific issues with the PP. No general' how tos' or step by steps. Anybody got some great links to get be going?
Also, can any of this be done with the VS Dev version? Or is it full CR only?
